    Hi,
    I have recently changed the bearings/pump on my washer, and now on the fastest spin the drum is banging. I suspect the shock absorbers (all three springs are present) but would like a second opinion as they’re not cheap!

    I’ve never heard of a WWF1401 are you sure you got the ENr number correct? Is it a Bosch?

    Hi Martin,
    thats the No on the front of the machine and the No Espares refers to.

    Ah I think you may need Specsavers then as I can only find a Bosch WFF1401GB/01.

    To test the shock absorbers simply remove the lid and push down and release the drum. ( Much like testing car shocks by pushing on the wing) If it bounces back they’re duff and need replacing.
