ParticipantI had the misfortune to order an indesit lower concrete weight from connect on 25/08/14 it was promised for 19/9/14.
I spoke to the rep and he promised last week . I after being hounded by the customer said I would do it this week.
Now the lying sod at connect claims he never promised last week.
Then he claims it came in but was damaged and now its listed for 3/10/14.they just dont give a sh*t.

Have completely stopped using them now, qualtex may not stock everything but they seem to get special orders in pretty quick and are always helpful

I’ve used them much less lately, Had to wait from February to June for a valve on a Maytag(Whirlpool)dishwasher.
Qualtex often have popular parts out of stock so should look to get them replenished (often Beko/Lamona) whereas Connect will nearly always have stock.
As for Masterpart………….September 10, 2014 at 4:04 pm #419002admin

connect rep? what do they look like have not seen one of them for years.September 10, 2014 at 5:59 pm #419003stratfordgirl
ParticipantRe: connect rep
I’ve learned that Connect’s ETA is just that, expected time of arrival, and I always advise customers accordingly, if the part is out of stock. Connect have always been up front about this with me, and never “promised” a delivery date.
But if I have the choice (BSH, Electrolux, Indesit, Miele, Fisher & Paykel, Hoover), I order out of stock parts needed for a customer direct from the manufacturer, cutting out the middle man, and often cheaper anyway. Failing that, from Qualtex if possible, as I have found them best for special orders, as Andy says.

well….today was the day?
got my annual 10yr visit from my connect rep, he asked the question ? why don’t we order as much from them now 😯 ?
“because you are more expensive, and do not bother to see
or call.”big surprise… me thinks that they must not be doing as well as they have been???? anyone else getting a visit at the moment

I think each supplier have their preferred method that appeals to each of us. I use Connect 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time as they are on my doorstep literally as for costs, I just simply pass it on to my customers and I have no issues with that. Quite a number of staff there knows me. As for sales rep, I do have one but I don’t know what it looks like.
A while back, I was at the trade counter asking if this certain rep-man available to see me as I have a query to make, only to find that I was actually talking to him without realising who he was. For so long I had assumed he was some poor down trodden warehouse worker. Oops!

connect rep? what do they look like have not seen one of them for years.me too, 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of orders now go to Qualtex, get a call from rep every 6 months or so, never met him yet as I’m out working but the missus has a chat with him.
Had a answerphone message from masterpart the other day, wanting a chat, rung ’em back twice- no one answered!!
still occasionally use euro part , but they don’t hold much genuine stuff in stock., as for connect never seen or heard from them in years, just an email to say “my new reps details are as follows.”
Thank the Lord for Qualtex. 🙂
