    Hi gents need to change timer anyone discribe how to take hob tops off to access control panel screws

    Is it gas, ceramic, solid plate or induction?

    There are 3 or 4 screws under the control panel – remove them, then there are the same along the top. Pull off the knobs and the fascia comes off. Then remove all the screws holding the gas burners in place (3 in each) then you can lift the top up and prop it to give you access to everything. Reassembly is just the reverse, but it can be tricky lining all the burner screws up.

    sorry no screws in burners: 4 screws on top of hop top (right side)
    4 on left side this is a 5331 model with gridle and hot plate on left
