I have changed the PCB on this cabinet, which then requires the program code to be set. I have done this in accordance with the data sheet provided with the spare part, but it will not save the code at the end. I have noticed that the old PCB is marked as a JAZZ15 and my new one is marked JAZZ14. So now I am unsure whether I have the wrong part (although it seems to be the only one listed) or need to do something else to get the code saved. I have tried to speak to Maytag, but they will only discuss technical issues with their own engineers. I’m hoping that someone can help.
    Many thanks

I have never found one that works with the code on the rating plate but 05 or 15 default codes normaly work let me know how you get on.

Thanks very much for the advice Bob. I was unable to reply until now because the customer was away. So on his return I rushed round to put your default code into practice, and it was saved immediately and the cabinet is now working again.
So again thank you very much I don’t know what I would have done without you. Its wonderfull to have somewhere to turn, when the manufacturers back up is lacking.

    Thanks for the update.

    Glad to have helped

The Manufactures are no help to us unless you are employed or contract to them.

Hotpoint are now making it difficult by only supplying unprogramed PCB’s on there refrigeration and you cannot program them without the software.

It will only add to the landfill if manufactures do not help the indipendent repairers
