No error code showing Have stripped down unit, heater shows some resistance when tested for continuity Tried to see if voltage present at heater connections, nothing shows when programmed Other than E6 and E1 with heater out of circuit. Suspect it is the heater did not want to change if something else may be cause. Many thanks for any help Graham Leicestershire November 12, 2014 at 12:19 am #421341 electrofixModerator Re: Whirlpool adp 8693 dishwasher what resistance of the heater? if its under 100 ohms disconnected then its ok Dave November 13, 2014 at 10:55 am #421342 cornflakesParticipant Re: Whirlpool adp 8693 dishwasher Without returning and stripping down again I failed to note resistance Assuming the element is ok What else might be the problem Thanks November 13, 2014 at 1:44 pm #421343 electrofixModerator Re: Whirlpool adp 8693 dishwasher broken wires, relay on board inc blown track and solder joints, safety stats if fitted Dave November 13, 2014 at 9:40 pm #421344 deltraParticipant Re: Whirlpool adp 8693 dishwasher broken wires at bottom of door ,quite common on these November 14, 2014 at 4:14 pm #421345 GrendalParticipant Re: Whirlpool adp 8693 dishwasher You can meter the element from the pcb you should get approx 28 ohms. If that is ok it will be the pcb but would need the 85 number to get the correct part no Author Posts Viewing 6 posts - 1 through 6 (of 6 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
