Went to look at this Beko This morning. It is stuck at 20 mins and continuously pumps. The dials or buttons do nothing and I cannot get it to move from the 20 mins. I took a look at the motor but it is a type of motor I have not seen before, with an electronic control attached to the rear. Can anyone shed any light onto the fault with the machine and can anyone give me any information on how this motor works and whether it can be tested etc.
    Thanking you in anticipation.

    Regards.

    Nigel.

Infamous Askoll motor, it uses a hall sensor for speed feedback instead of normal tacho. Diode mounted inside back wall down to left gives problems & sometimes needs changed if problem is no motor action.

If its sticking on 20 mins i’d check coil of inlet valve, it may not be taking in water for rinse, just a thought.
Continuous pumping would make you think it has’nt registered empty, check pressure vessel, pressure hose hasn’t come off the pressure sensor, etc.
Check drain hose is’nt too far down drain pipe causing syphoning.

Thanks for taking the time to reply ! I have checked all these things. I think that there is a fault with the electronics in the motor and the machine has just shut down as it senses that there is a circuit fault. There are no fault codes with these, so no indication of where to look. The customer has now purchased a new machine and had the beko taken away.
    Thanks again.

    Regards.

There are fault codes for these machines, I think fault code F11 and F13 are the ones that your machine may have in its memory, F11 refers to hall sensor fault, F13 normally is communication to motor, either of these fault codes may be present with a no motor action problem .
