    This D/W is showing F6 fault code.- before removing from units, I started program, no water went in and code F6 came up, pulled the machine from housing restarted this time machine filled with water cycle started runs for 5 /6 minutes then it aborts water pumps out and F6 shows again. I have tested heater for circuit & earth leak.
    There is a unit in the sump area that looks like a optical reader !! not sue how to test this !! also no sure if this is the fault. any advice would be welcome. john

    f6 is usually the water matrix on the left hand side pt no is 481241868368 However it is worth giving the switch in the sump a good clean first and also check for broken wires in the door
