Hi sometimes when my washer dryer has finished a cycle there is water left in the rubber seal of the door – it is normally when I wash at a low temperature although the machine is still set to spin at the highest setting. I have drained off the water at the bottom of the machine and cleaned the pumped of debris. However, if i put my finger at the beginning of the drain hose I can feel something. I am not sure if this is part of the hose or something has got stuck? I have tried to pull it out but it wont budge.

It should be clear so release the clamp ring from the door seal at the front panel and inspect it from there.

No, just the seal clamp ring from the front panel.

can’t see where the seal clamp ring is. the rubber seal is very tightly fitted to the machine

I put my washer machine on a cold wash and it is now coming up with code E01. I have checked for blockages and cannot find anything. Also I tried reset the machine by holding down the start button but nothing seems to work and it is continuously draining.

Sounds like you’ve caused it to leak and the safety float has activated in the base of the machine.

Dry the water in the base and find where the leak was from.
