ParticipantHi all,
I have a F44050VI i’m trying to replace the control unit on, the replacement 973911234997006 is different to the original in size and supposedly preconfigured although the wiring is the same.
When you switch on its completely dead although there is power to the control unit. AEG customer service say there is a setup procedure to follow on these once fitted, I’ve not heard or read anything on this?
Apparently involves switching on and opening and closing the door?
I can’t get any life out of it and have replaced the new module in case it was faulty, the PNC number is 91123499700.Any help greatly appreciated!

Quick update, nothing in the manual regarding any setup procedure on a configured module.
I fitted an older module and it all worked fine, on contacting Electrolux customer service and explaining the modules they were sending me are unconfigured i got this: ‘The parts we have sold to you are in perfect working order and have been
tested in Europe and we do not have any problem with our stock’
Very helpful!
Anyhoo, thanks for your help Dave 🙂Ray

Hi Ray
I had the same problem a couple of years ago on this module, after checking the wiring it turned out to be the socket on the new board A1-A2 was reversed and had to fit the plug upside down to get it to work
Worth checkingColin
