    Hi All,

I bought a new beko frost free fridge freezer two years ago and it’s already caput!

The fridge keeps freezing all my food and unfortunately I have misplaced my receipt. Anyway i’ve seen a similar question pop up but i wanted to make sure mine was the same issue as theirs.

I have a Beko CDA539F-2. Can anyone advise what part/s i need to fix this problem and possibly how to fix it!

    Many many thanks

Re: Problems with my Fridge Freezer

Sounds like a thermostat issue. You can see a few listed here; http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/catalogs … =CDA539F-2

If you are confident and skilled then try measuring your current thermostat for continuity with a multimeter whilst the machine is off.

Hi Techsmart, Thanks for your reply. I presume the thermostat is located by the thermostat dial?

    hi,
sensor in back of fridge compartment is likely to have failed, if you search this forum with Beko CDA539F-2 in search you will find dozens of people with same problem. sensor is about £10 but you need to cut insulation away at back of fridge. its a easy repair when u know how.
I have a video if that helps.

Re: Problems with my Fridge Freezer

jskelton555.. That would be really helpful. I’ve tested all the components from the freezer compartment, which seem fine. However someone mentioned, on another forum, that it may be a faulty compressor.

A video would be really appreciative. Does it show the whole process?

Re: Problems with my Fridge Freezer

Replacing the sensor at the back has fixed the problem, although i promise i will never buy a beko product again.

If this is a common problem then the company should do the right thing and fix them free of charge.

    I really appreciate jskelton555’s help.
