Removing the lower cover of a LG F12B8QDA 7kg washer

I have very recently bought an LG F12B8QDA 7gh washing machine from Currys (last Thursday had it installed etc).

I have used it for a few different washes over the past week & everything went smoothly, my clothes were very clean & fresh & the machine was quiet.

However, things went quickly wrong today! I got an error message OE & the cycle couldn’t drain the water & then spin to complete the cycle.

I took the lower cover cap off to show a drain hose & a filter. As it was mid cycle, there was a lot of water to drain, which I did manually into a suitable vessel. THe hose is now empty. I also checked the drain pump filter & there is no debris or anything in it.

However, when I went to attach the drain hose & drain plug back under the lower cover cap, the hose fell back into the hole & I’m unable to get it back.

I assume I can take the whole of the lower cover off to be able to put the hose back in the right place.

Can you let me know how I can get the drain hose back in the correct position?
