    Brushes gone , tried reset so many times I lost count.
    Customer did the reset at the weekend, then tried it again, without doing the brushes, would this have spoilt the board.?

    Someone mentioned if you try it 3 times & fail, you need to use different finger, is this right?
    Cant believe how a simple job can turn into a bl**dy nightmare. 😡

    Had one the same yesterday. Tried 5 or six times then tried it again with the door open and it worked, may just be a coincidence.

    maybe it’s just luck whether u hit button at the right time,or when you lift ya finger off the spin button. you lucky fella!!
    didn’t know the door ( open or shut )was connected with reset.

    update
    customer rung today & said he ‘d managed to reset the machine after 3 goes.
    I think I’ve lost my touch!!!

    I guess I’ll scrub me fingers first next time, before resetting.

    I had exactly the same thing last week. Tried reset about 20 times until I thought I’d try with the other hand before I gave up and it worked first time.
    Must be thicker skin on one hand. Who knows!!!

    never stop learning do we!
    would be nice to know the actual reason it’s hit & miss- over to you Bosch engineers.
