Proline frost free freezer, working ok but fan not running.
There is no excessive ice build up on the evaporator and the fan is free running, this is as far as i got as i was there doing something else plus i was on a meter 😀
Would this be the fan or the electronickey bits?

Looking at the wiring diagram (it’s a Brandt by the way) the fan motor is supplied directly from the PCB so if the fan motor isn’t faulty it can’t be much else really.

Unless a faulty thermistor is causing the error, there’s two of them, described as temp probe and defrost probe.

The last 3 appliances with fault I have been to has turned out to be the PCB,You can check that there is or isnt power coming out from the PCB from the front at the PCB connections.

£45 plus VAT ray (includes carriage).

Not too bad as Brandt prices go 😉

I can get if required for you.

There are 2 pcb’s that were fitted during production, they are interchangeable but the wiring may need to be extended.

45×9781 has the terminals on the left side of the board and led’s on the right

45×8357 has both the terminals and the led’s on the right of the board

    Hope that helps
