i assume this is one of the later locks which are not as strong as earlier models

i have had similar problems with this unit

try removing lower basket and see if it closes better. had a customer that had put a plastic peice at the back of the basket that was putting pressure on the door

other problem i have had is levelling. if unit is not square in the unit or legs are lowered so much it puts pressure on the roof it causes door problems. try lowering the dishwasher legs and see if door gets better

check the u shaped hinge bearings have not dropped out.

with these new format ones quite often if theres marble top the kitchen fitters with have a wooden insert above the dishwasher front edge, but none on the rear, this can lead to them rockign about when opening closing eventually popping the back part of the catch out of its housing. could easily be stopped if bosch put a cover plate but i guess they expect it to be butted up against work top. simple job of popping back in, advise an identical baton is pitted at rear to stop rocking and jobs a gooden.
