    Our Bosch WVT1260GB washer dryer overheats on drying and trips the overheat thermostat. I have replaced that thermostat and the hot thermostats – but hasn’t fixed it. I have checked the fan is working and water is going in. The vent pipe along the top of the machine is clear, and the fan only has a light covering of fluff. Could it be the condenser is blocked? How do I remove it? Or is there something else to check?

    Thanks

    Caught the fan not working – causing overheating. Seems to be an intermittent fault. Not sure if motor, wiring or relays.

    Need to know if the motor had 240v when it failed

    I didn’t read your question fully- yes could be blocked but more likely in the heating element housing somewhere but much more likely as you have alluded to the fan motor
    I have had both problems, I found my blockage around the fan turbine inside the housing just release the nuts and bolts holding it down to drum
    (It’s easier to do it than explain it) You will see how to split to gain access to elements and turbine
    gotta go Tablet battery less than 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}
