ParticipantI’ve got a Hotpoint Aquarius FDL570P.R and it takes on water pauses for a second flashes the wash/drying/end lights and then drains continually (long after the machine is empty).
I cannot locate this particular combination of error lights anywhere and the FDL series codes on this site have a disclaimer at the bottom saying they are not relevant for this model.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
Regards,

Error code is lights 1+2+3 which indicates a faulty water turbine.
part number C00256546

Thanks for the info, I’ve removed the turbine unit, it’s all nice and clean and the turbine spins freely so I reconnected it. I set the dishwasher to speed wash and it has taken on water and started the first cycle so fingers crossed.
Thanks,

It did a couple of washes, so I put the side panels back on and then of course it promptly stopped working again. It now fills with water panics, flashes the lights and continuously empties.

Change the part I indicated, a known problem area.

Having just coughed up £30 for a replacement water turbine, it arrived today and I’ve just fitted it. Unfortunately it’s made no difference whatsoever.
When you start a cycle it does a quick drain, pauses and then starts taking on water for a few seconds before flashing all the lights and draining itself.

All the lights or just the three vertical lights?
Error codes on all appliances are only a guide and we can only follow the details from the manufacturer. Sadly the electronics in this Indesit made appliance are some of the least reliable on the market so anything is possible.
Can you trace the wiring from the turbine back to the module and check it for continuity?February 5, 2016 at 5:00 pm #434898Trojan Hussar

Salt/Rinse Aid and the Wash/Drying/End all flash. I was a bit concerned that the drain pump runs continuously even after the machine is empty, which I would assume isn’t that great for an impeller.

Error code is still “supposed” to be a turbine fault. Drain pump will often run continuously in error mode. Especially it thinks it is overfilling. No mention of it in the manual but I’m guessing a pressure switch problem could lead to similar errors.???
