Strange one this…it intermittantly refuses to advance into spin, the occurence becoming more frequent, just tumbles in one direction for a few seconds and repeats this for as long as its left on.
Pressure system is as clean as a whistle, the element has infinite insulation and good sized loads are put in…got to be the module I thought.
So….I fitted a new module today, fresh in the Bosch packing it was…but one of the micro switches on the board already moved (witness marks on the thin plastic covering the variant switches) to find the board did all sorts of funny things. Anyone know if they come like that or have I been given a duff new board?
….and anyone seen the original fault before?

Hi first thing is you have got the ENR number wrong, but i know what appliance you are working on, you also did not mention if the module came with a coding instruction, which it should do. can you check, without recoding the module you will have umpredictable result. I beleive you have WFL2260

Thanks sene…I may have got the number wrong (has been known lol)…but it’s not a Maxx
Yes I followed the coding instructions and am happy that I got it correct for the model variant, it seemed a little strange that one of the coding switches had been altered already. As I said it was sealed in the original box when received so this must have happened in the factory.March 30, 2005 at 6:40 pm #130304sene

Well, sometimes we do have them like that, but as far it works and you have the 12month warranty that is o.k

Went back today with another board (customer been on hols) but the advice sheet gives no precise information for that model. The differentiation between the models relies on the button options on the front of the machine. This model has ‘reduced ironing’ + ‘rinse plus’ + ‘quick wash’ as the three functions, and the only reference to this combination relates to different name badges(!)
Has anyone had this problem before?
The appliance is still useable…the fault seems to be consistent (refusing to move off the last rinse intermittantly) so i’m reluctant to take the board off for analysis.
Incidentally, the part number of the board supplied is 432218April 26, 2005 at 10:46 pm #130306gegsy

yes….suspected that one after finding the pressure system was as clean as a whistle but couldn’t fault it by pressuring it a few times manually (or should that be orally???) 😉

yes i agree…had my 73 for donkeys year now….i even had to replace the battery on one occasion!….ohhh…and an internal fuse after live testing on a microwave (silly me forgot to connect my HV probe!)….it’s been dropped, dunked, chewed by a dog, kicked, had washing machines rested on it…and it STILL performes perfectly!
