the common Bosch reset is like this
turn programme knob to 6 0 clock
press and hold the button that changes the spin speed
turn knob to 7 o clock
now release the spin speedyou may have to do it 2 or 3 times
if it has not got a spin speed button then this reset wont work

You don’t mention if it will still fill and drain?
If it will drain then it doesn’t need a reset but it is more than likely the motor toc has blown, possibly even the main pcb. 🙁
Have you checked the motor electrically?

You won’t be able to successfully reconnect fase. Better you replace the motor plug to control board wiring harness (Pt no. 00600111).
(FYI : The positions of the broken three wires in that connector are mirrored by the same connector on the control board.)

Thanks Martin what resistance reading should I get from the motor between 2-3 20 ohm between 3-4 open between 4-5 5ohms between 5-6 o ohms between 6-7 o ohms top to bottom thanks fasetester

I’ve no clue fase, sorry. But the good news is that you have continuity across the pins so chances are the motor is OK. 🙂

Thanks Martin as Jim said the machine would fill pump out when selected spin program would only set to 1200 spin not able to select 1600 spin
Would start on 12 min count down to 11min then jump to 1min stop removed PCB there is a sign something happened PCB blackened around diode near the triac
Should there not be a fuse to protect the PCB fasetester

Sadly fase, no. 🙁
Those clever Germans thought it best not to put an inline fuse in. They got the advice from the Italians who thought the British were stupid enough to think of fitting one on every machine. So collectively they conspired to rid the Brits of any manufacturing of whitegoods. And that’s where we find ourselves today, in Britain trying to fix foreign imported c r ap.
Come the revolution the Brexit Brotherhood will fight them on the beaches AND in the skies. Meanwhile hold on tight, don’t drop your guard, show them you are made of stronger stuff!

What is the most likely component to have blown on this PCB to affect the motor action I have tested the diodes around where the the board is blacked only getting meter reading one way on diodes .
There is 2 black cinder cap not domed on top 2 blue rectangular components small square coil 4 resistors one blue round component .
Then the triac how can you tell which is T1 T2 G when testing thanks case testerSeptember 16, 2016 at 7:27 pm #440700electrofix

first make sure your motor is ok
since the most common failure is in the brush circuit try this
remove motor plug
put one meter lead on one of the brushes. then touch every connection on the motor motor plug connection. you should get a reading on 2 of them. one will read 0 ohms and the other will be a low ohm readingDave

…….and did you get round to replacing the motor to PCB lead?
