Hello, I am a lady with no technical help available. My fridge/freezer (see above) is not working properly. The fridge temperature is showing at “H” whatever that means and the freezer says -20 however a lot of the contents are not freezing. I want to replace it rather than pfaff about with repair. Can someone tell me if the Beko BC50F is compatible with the Diplomat. The unit is integral and I read on another site that someone have the Diplomat integrally fitted and replaced it happily with the Beko. Your comments would be very much appreciated. Thank you

The Diplomat is better.
Empty the fridge and freezer, turn it off and leave the doors open for 48 hours / 2 Days.
When you turn it back on after 4 to 6 hours it will work ok again.
If the problem returns after 6 to 8 weeks it will need a new defrost sensor.
If it does not work ok after the 4 to 6 hours the fan will be the fault.
It is well worth trying to keep the Diplomat if you are looking to replace it I would go for a GORENJE.
