ParticipantHI ALL, FIRST TIME POSTER, GO EASY ON ME !!
DISHWASHER JUST OVER 3 YEARS OLD. WASHER WOULDNT DRAIN AND NO HOT WATER. DOES THE WATER NEED TO REACH A CERTAIN TEMP. FOR THE TIMER TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT CYCLE? TIMER STICKS AT ROUND ABOUT 12-13 ON THE TIMER CYCLE. HAVE TRIED RESETING IT WITH NO JOY. ANY HELP/ADVICE WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED.

Yes, it needs to heat to the correct temperatre before the timer will advance.
It sounds like the heater overload thermostat has cut out, they are manually resettable.
Please ensure the plug is pulled beforehand though :zap:

I can’t go in to specifics I’m afraid due to EU legislation.
Neddless to say, it’s near the heater 😉

Right in about things now, does the small switch have two grey wires and is situated bottom right ?? with piece of polystyrene attached to the trip ??

😥 Thought i had found heater overload thermo. but i dont think so going by your description.
How close is it to the pump ?
Cant find the red reset button, had bottom tray off , is it hidden by a cover ?
