    Hi All
This fridge freezer is giving me a bit of jip, about 3 weeks ago I was called to this unit because it had completely lost temperature control in the fridge and was intermittently tripping the electrics. I found that the diffuser had broken and the main defrost element had gone short to earth so replaced both.

Now the unit works perfectly for about a week then slowly begins to lose temperature in the fridge section, the freezer is sitting at around -20C though the display shows -18C, the fridge section shows 4C on the display but is actually around 10-12C inside, I have double checked that the new diffuser is opening and closing correctly, the air vents are clear, it appears to be defrosting correctly and the fan is running. Is this likely to be the temperature sensor or something else.

    Thank you

    Jem

    Hi
I would check to make sure that there is no ice build up on the return vent in the freezer, this is located behind the back panel on the right hand side near the defrost tray. Failing that is the fridge door closing properly as that will cause the diffuser to ice up and stop the fridge getting cold. I have never had to change a sensor in a side by side as they are pretty bullet proof

I did check the the vent and and the doors and all appeared okay but I will double check them tomorrow when I am going back.
Anything else to look out for on these or other ideas?

    Thank you

    Jem

P.S. The model number should be: S25DRSS33-A/G
