I have a Bush oven model AE6BFS. It is receiving power from the mains, when switched on the fan activates but the internal light does not and the oven does not heat up, the power indicator light and temperature indicator light do not activate either. I have already changed the element and thermostat, this has had no effect. I’m now out of ideas about what the fault could be. Does anyone have any suggestions about the next steps?

I would be looking at the selector switch

    Re: Bush Oven help

Thanks for the reply, I have been leaning towards that myself but my hesitation is because the fan still comes on when the selector switch is used. Would the selector switch still activate the fan but not the heating elements if it was defective? I imagine if it was broken it wouldn’t select anything? I have ordered the part anyway and will see how it goes.

It will be the selector switch as Lawrence suggests. its a quite common failing on these ovens.

    Re: Bush Oven help

Excellent, thanks for the help guys. The part is on order and will arrive tomorrow.

Interesting to hear that its a common fault on these ovens as that explains why the existing one looks like it had already been replaced.
