Today we organised some special rates for members of the Whitegoods trade to enable them to achieve a web presence with minimum costs.
I’ve talked to Andy about making up a basic “contact” type web page for you guys if you want it and he’s gonna really do us a favour here for this so please show a little support. Basically, Andy will make up a basic web page that has your contact details and whatnot (for the princely sum of £20) on it for you so you don’t need to do anything really on that front. It’s also going to be Google friendly, i.e. it will be found on search engines easily. Please mail Andy directly about here send email The next bit is where you put that page on the web and for that you need web hosting. Next you need some webspace, well that costs a whole £20 a year from Rapid Hoster which is run by a friend of mine who is prepared to offer a bit more for the money. Bear in mind that rapid hoster is not a commercial grade hosting firm and does not offer some of the features you may want for the likes of an online shop, but for the likes of ourselves its more than adequate. Many of you I suspect won’t understand what all the features are in the offer that Chris is making from Rapid, but it really doesn’t matter, the details are here: Special Offer Put it this way, I don’t think that for an all in cost of about £40 and ten minutes work you’re going to get a better deal to get your name on the web!
