Hi, I have just repaired my Samsung RS55XDGNS (made for French market) but equivalent to RS21DPSM with the complete repair kit. Success!!
However the steel drain under the Defrost Heater Evaporator Element has rusted.
I have managed to attach the drain heater element to it but fear the existing rust will get worse!!
Can anybody please give me an indication of the part number and availability of this part.

The part number depends on where you order it from.
The part you require is available it comes with a new drain heater.
The part is called a Defrost Drain Heater compleate with fixing plate.
Try the whitgoods shop on this site.

The heater shown in the shop is without the fixing plate.
If you phone on Monday they should be able to supply the heater compleate with fixing plate.

I already have a new drain heating element, it is just the drain plate I am looking for.
