    Beko Tumble Dryer small belt DSV64W

    This dryer has a small belt about 10 cm in diameter that goes to the motor pulley and then to a larger pulley, whitch then the drum belt fits on, to drive the drum.

    Anyone know how to stretch this belt and fit it. I have tried all standard methods.
    Put the belt in Boiling wtare, stretched it for 24 hours used screwdrivers to try and manipulate it on the pulleys.

    The problem is the two pulleys are so close together you can’t slip anthing around the pulley like a socket or pipe like the usualy way of fitting tight stretchable belts.

    Anyone managed this.

    Thanks

    If your fitting the small belt the motor has to come out,if your fitting the main belt the motor lifts from bottom of top on the spring kai

    I managed it today with two spoons (handles to lever belt around pulley) shall I keep spoons on the van ?
    Maybe some bicycle tyre levers :}
