The noise appears from the video to coincide with the rotation of the drum which suggests it’s a foreign object caught behind it.

You can try putting your head inside the drum and rotate it by hand…it can be difficult but you may be able to hear the location of the noise…most likely near the bottom.

If you’re lucky you may be able to see it through the holes in the drum using a torch.

Where it is exactly will determine which access you need to remove it.

appreciate the quick reply Clive. I opened the door and spun the drum by hand and its making no noise at all. its very smooth and quiet. I will open it to check inside.

any idea why the noise when working but none when rotated by hand?

can you tell me what I need to check when the washer doesnt fill with enough water? I manually add water. its basically only filling partly and I fill it with another 12 liters or so to get it at 1/4 of the level up on the door.

    cheers

Sounds like belt slip to me

Fill levels are almost certainly correct, all modern machines use much lower water levels than a few years ago. Very few modern machines will fill up to the lower lip of the door glass on the wash cycle, some will fill a little higher for the rinses.

Does it still make the noise if you don’t ‘overfill’ it? The door seal could be catching on the drum or it could even have a cracked drum support. Is it excessively noisy on fast spin with a full load?

As Martin suggests, belt slip can also cause noise but that sounds like a scraping noise.

I’ve just trained my good ear to the short video and concluded it is the belt that needs replacing. Check the main drum pulley is secure on the central shaft whilst you’re at it.
