AEG Washer Dryer L75480WD E10 error code

My AEG washer/dryer tumble dryer (only) has stopped working and it is displaying the E10 error code. The washing machine is working fine. I bought it in 2013, it’s 4 years old. It used to intermittently stop tumble drying and display the E10 message, but would work properly for maybe the next 10 cycles. However now it won’t work at all.

I have cleaned and drained the water from the drain pump filter, which wasn’t especially clogged up because I do it regularly. As advised by the AEG website I ran a wash with the drawer slightly open and can confirm there is water running on the wash cycle. None of this has helped.

Other people have posted about this problem but with slightly different model numbers and have been told it could be the ‘Washing Machine Water Inlet Valve’. However the serial number’s do not correspond to my specific model, so I am not sure of the exact part.

Any advice would be gratefully received. Sue
