    How is the door seal removed on this model. It seems to be firmly clamped in place by the internal part of the door and the outer. I can find no indication of how to separate the door to remove the seal. Is it a case of brute force to remove it? Or is there a better way? Hotpoint less than helpful, said they couldn’t advise due to Health and Safety!!!
    Advice greatly appreciated

    can you get a seal?

    some fridges are complete doors only

    Never seen one let alone done one but the seal part number is C00268667 and it’s a special order everywhere, nil stock completely.

    Blowout is all we have…

    They say they do not give fitting instructions but encourage diy!!! They are part of the Currys/PCWorld group so I wasn’t expecting much. Do you know who could advise?

    looking at the new seal how does it seem to clip on ?

    had one seal that you had to cut the old seal off, then after you cut it off there was a plastic channel to clip the new one into
