    Hi,

Looking for a wee bit of help as have tried various solutions to fix but none have worked.

Basically my Hotpoint WMUD 10637 P is leaking during filling from the joint between the dispenser base and the top where they clip together. I have tried the following-
    1) Cleaning drawer and jets
    2) Unclipping dispenser base from top and giving the joint a clean
    3) Check machine is level
    4) Tried reducing water pressure

None of these have worked so I am now considering the following-
    1) Remove the upper and lower dispenser parts completely, clean and then use sealant to seal the two together.

    or
    2) Replace the dispenser parts- ?the top one ?bottom one ?both.

Any thoughts on the options would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

A long time problem on these Indesit machines. Replacing the whole of the dispenser assembly is one solution, it has been modified for this fault several times. Sadly it is not now available as a complete assembly.

Apart from that two things you can try, make sure the water pressure is not to high and adjust the two front feet, screw them out to give the machine a slight backwards tilt.

You could also try using silicone between the units and then re assemble.

Thanks for the replies, leak fairly minimal now after repositioning as per above. Will keep an eye on it and if gets any worse will crack out the silicone.
