Fills up then pumps a bit and contiues doing this with door open or closed…… Problem is all the lights are on every button and the reset isn’t working so it cant be cancelled and restarted again.

Don’t want to change pcb as its expensive but it must be the fault – or is it?
CX has kept up Calgon treatment so the air break will be good, so I’m guessing the pcb is the problem.

    any ideas please?

sounds like pcb, any water in base though? Nothing earthed? Would give the pcb a good inspection though, look for blown out components otherwise a new one might blow on fitting.

Just the normal descaling tablet as far as I know, why is that too regular?

It’s just that Calgon don’t make such a product for dishwashers and I was assuming your customer was therefore using the same stuff as Calgon make for washing machines, maybe?
