    Hi,
I have a customer who has this oven, but on the fan oven setting it does not allow heating past 200c as this is the maximum available.

Is there anything that can be adjusted to make the machine go to 220c on fan oven setting.
It will go to this temperature if using the bread function but this also brings another element into effect & causes uneven cooking.

    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks
    Paul

if the unit is not designed to go that high don’t alter it. if you start trying to alter the calibration it will alter it across the temp range. chance are there is no adjustment and its all software controlled

when cooking with a fan oven most recipes tell you to lower the temp. so a fan oven temp of 200 degrees is probably equal to 220 degrees convection unit

Also if you did manage to alter and something went wrong you could be on the wrong side of a law suit

why do they want this anyway ?

They cook Bread at 210 -220c

The miele one they have goes this high.

But if the bread setting is used which also brings on the base element then it burns it.

I just thought I would ask.

Maybe he will have to buy another Miele.

They also have the use of a JL freestanding cooker which goes over 200c & does what they require.

    Thanks for the reply.

    regards

have you checked the temp is actually correct

if yes then they should have done a bit more market research before they bought the oven

if no sensor may be faulty
