    Bosch WTE84306GB/27 condenser drier. FD9101.

Runs perfectly for 20 mins then stops dead. No lights, controls or display. Leave for ten minutes and then turn dial back to “O”; turn on and off it goes again for about ten minutes and dies. Seems to get very hot and ignores the fact the wet towel is now almost dry. Took towel out and machine kept going as if it was still sensing the wet washing. Machine not blocked anywhere.
Three parts that I can see could possibly cause this:- front duct NTC (613753) or heater mounted NTC at the back (600157) or PCB. I’m not sure if the safety stat on the heater (618141) would shut the whole machine down?
    Any info on this please?

    Thanks.

    Steve.

well you could check if the safety stat does shut it down by disconnecting 1 wire and see if machine still comes on

there are some posts about the forum that site earth faults on elements to lack of display on some makes of machine. Have you tried to look for earth faults or disconnect td element when it is in an off state ?

As for the board you can check for blown caps. If you have the ability you can check the power output from the board power supply to see if its a board power supply problem. the trouble is you have to have it in an off state

I take it if you just turn the machine on without starting a programme it wont fail
