    Hello,

    I’ve got a White-Westinghouse Fan Oven (model number 05-200301) which won’t heat. The fan works okay as does the grill.

    I’ve tried calling Caremark but just found out that the guarantee is now worthless. Is is worth calling them to pay for someone outside of warranty or is this a job I could do myself (with the right parts)?

    I’m based in North-West London NW6.

    I have Model no. 05-200306 and the same problem the fan works but the oven won’t heat, i can’t find anyone in the area who can deal if you have any luck please let me know.

    The elements (99.99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance that’s what the fault is) is readily available. If you email Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk he’ll sort it out for you.

    Hi, I have exactly the same problem as Simon had. However, my model number is (according to the front of the owners guide) 200301. No 05 prefix. Is this the same model?

    Yes, it’s the same oven Barnesey. The prefix denotes the colour option 🙂

    Hi there. In my case it’s a hite-Westinghouse Stainless Steel Oven: 05-203105. For a while it was cutting out when it got hot, then it would have to cool down before it would work again. But now it won’t start at all.

    I’d be very grateful for advice. Its about 7 years old, but buying a new oven isn’t an option. The flat is in London – E14 9QZ.

    Sorry – forgot to ask – is this a simple fix job for a layman? Or do I need an engineeer call-out?

    203105 is a Smeg manufactured oven

    Ensure that ventillation is good as restricted air folw can cause this.

    Apart from that, I would recommend an engineer to be honest for a fault like this, check the repairs@ link below, that should provide someone 🙂

    Hi, just looking around for options. I also have a White Westinghouse oven (model 02-203101) and the only element working at present is the top one, the bottom one, the grill and the fan elements don’t work. The analogue clock hasn’t worked for years. I’ve taken the oven out of its housing and tried to get at the elements but it looks like a major dismantling job and I’m just about ready to bin the whole thing. It was bought in 1999 which isn’t that long ago but I wonder if it would be more cost effective to buy a new one. Problem is I like the style and all the current models are boring and square. What would you suggest? I guess the new parts would set me back £100+ including new gaskets.
