    Bosch Slim dish washer
    Model: SPS40C12GB/01
    9108 02422

    The Module has a burnt Resistor located just North of the big Black Capacitor.

    Any ideas How the Resistor is rated and where I could find a replacement? Willing to attempt a repair, its not definate that the module has corrupted itself.

    chances are this is a fusible resistor where the power comes into the module. normally I expect about 50 ohms or so at about 3W (fusible)

    this resistor feeds the mains into a rectifier and the dc voltage at about 325v appears on the big capacitor. This voltage is then used by the 7 leg chip (TYN264) to lower the voltage for the module to 12v or what ever . If this resistor has blown I would suggest the TNY chip has also
    lots more examples of this failure in the sticky at the top of this forum

    Do you mean the ‘simple pcb repairs’ thread? I just scouted through it and didnt see anything similar? Maybe you mean another sticky?

    no it is simple pcb thread

    see page 4 entitled (Electrolux EWM1000 ) same fault as yours
