    Does anyone know the resistance value of R93 on a EWM2100 board.?
    The replacement board is part number 973914606027-00/6

    have a few of that board round here but have nicked the resistors. that resistor serves 2 jobs
    1 it a surge resistor to limit the charging current of the main caps
    2 its a safety resistor which can blow if things go wrong

    I would use a 3watt 47 ohm fusible resistor which should fit the bill but if that resistor has blown I would also expect the power chip to be faulty also

    Thanks Dave.
    The resistor has broken up that’s why i couldn’t read the value.
    Have you every changed the power chip? Do you mean the link switch?

    done lots of them

    resistor can blow for various reasons but the power chip is most likely. resistor feeds the power through a diode to charge a capacitor to about 300 volts DC. if the diode or cap fail will also blow resistor as that is part of its job
