I have a creda mirage cooker model C561ER and the main oven stopped heating. Diagnosed the element had failed (open circuit) and ordered new. Removed old unit but before fitting new oven was operated and tripped circuit breaker due to loose wires touching earth. Now having fitted new element oven still wont heat (fan or side element) and the fan no longer comes on. Thermostat light coming on. Suspect may have blown main control board but expensive and may or may not come with EEPROM. Before proceeding is there anything else I can check to verify it is the board?

don’t have any tech or info on this unit but

if you have blown a fuse and its controlled by a pcb then it is likely you have blown the tracks on the pcb

if it has blown it will be possible to repair the track by soldering wire across it after you have cleaned it. If the element is controlled by a relay on that board then you may also find the relay contacts are welded and you may also have to replace this

all this will test your soldering skills
