Keymasterhi all,

just before it started to smoke we got an error code f 12…. any ideas please.
the blue label on the module says CCD or COD.215005377.30
there is Ariston FE to the left side and 39-01 top left.
i have found simular looking boards for all others exept this machine 🙁 🙁 🙁

Pcb is p/no C00084331, and is supplied without the eeprom fitted. Contact spares@ukwhitegoods.com for price and availibility etc.
Regret fault 12 does not seem to be a valid fault code – however it is always worth checking the heater circuits on these.

eprom?? scuse my ignorence.. 😳The eprom is a little microchip that plugs into the module giving the applaince it’s correct features/identity
The WE16 is part of the evolution range which carries a 5 year parts guarantee with indesit so for around £90 they will fix it for you,

F12 is no comunication between theconsole and main power board, may need both boards aslo the connections between the may just need a fiddle with as this can cause same fault.

Fixed mine in 2 minutes.
unplugged power!!!!
removed lid 2 screws at rear slid back
found circuit boards on front dissconnected/reconnected one at a time using an eraser to clean board contacts.
put lid on
fault gone.
DON’T DO THIS YOURSELF GET A QUALIFIED PERSON TO HAVE A LOOK.
unless you are like me and like taking things apart! BUT DISSCONNECT MAINS FIRST

ParticipantHi there…the F 12 fault is none communication between the control console and the main board in the base of the appliance…however both of these board contain eeproms…the fault could be as simple as a faulty connection at the control console and or the main board..if the appliance is under 5yrs old then all parts are free you just pay the service callout (£89.00) if the appliance is over 5yrs old id seriously consider scrapping the same..you must have the model and serial numbers of your appliance to obtain correct eeproms..and you may need a motor…merloni advise changing boards eeproms and motor …costly if your paying..good luck ..ex merloni engineer
