    I purchased dishwasher door cables (1881050100) to replace broken ones, but on opening up the side of my dishwasher I have no idea how to hook the springs that attach to the cables back in place. The spring has a closed loop at one side and an open loop at the other. The closed loop side is the side I’m struggling to find anywhere to attach it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Yes. How do you attach the spring to it? I can’t get the closed end to stretch to get it onto this (assuming it’s supposed to clip onto the hole in that part). Thanks

    will go on somehow

    from what I remember its just a “U” shaped loop but its open at one end so you can prise it up to attach it

    I was worried about doing that in case I damaged it, but glad to know that’s all it takes. Thanks so much for your help.

    you wont damage it. its a spring under a lot of tension so a bit of prising by you is not going to do anything
