After lengthy discussions with the manufacturer, it appears that the bleeper which sounds at each press of a button, and eight times at end of cycle cannot be dampened or switched off. The volume registers at 67-75 decibels. We find it interrupts our business phone which is in the kitchen, and wakes us up if we try doing an overnight wash. Some brands have a way of using the buttons to cancel the bleeper. What can we do?
if you can find the beeper they are normally small round with a hole in the top mounted on the pcb. if you cover the hole with tape it will reduce the volume a lot
