Hi, just moved into a new house and having problems with a NEFF oven.
it has alot of different functions which most work. But the main fan doesn’t work and neither does one of the bulbs in the oven. The other bulb works with grill etc but the other side connected with using fan oven option doesn’t.

Can anyone help me out with what to check please?

    Its a NEFF E-Nr B1641N1GB/09

since the clock controls the oven if the clock is not set to manual then the oven wont work

if its not that then cant think of anything else simple and the control part look expensive

    Ah ok thanks.

Once i strip the casings off whats the best way to test the fan?
got a feeling it may be the main board/pcb so will remove that and see if theres anything abvious

well if it was the fan the element would still get hot

most time fan fails mechanically so see if it spins easily

you can check both with a multimeter

What ohm setting do i use on a multimeter? And what should i expect to see if its good or bad?

if its open circuit you will see readings of thousands of ohms

if you get a reading under 1000 then there is a circuit there

Only just had time to have another look.
the fan hasn’t got any power going to it.
Anyone know what to check? Took the pcb out to see if any burnt tracks but none found. Anyone know how to check if it is the pcb?
