    Hi,

Unfortunately while using my Microwave today it just stopped midway through with a complete loss of power. I replaced the fuse in the plug but that didn’t do any good. I just wondered if the internal fuse might need replacing or if there was anything else I could do to try and fix it? If it isn’t worth repairing, any advice on a suitable similar replacement would be very much appreciated.

The Microwave is Siemen Model No. HF-25M560B/02

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.

I shall try a new fuse in it and hopefully that will do the trick. I think the microwave might have shorted out because I was warming plates in it, but I did put a small bowl of water in at the same time.

I managed to get the cover off the microwave, but couldn’t locate the fuse. I just wondered if you had any ideas where to look for it? The power cord is at the bottom of the machine, so I would assume it wouldn’t be far from there. I did try to find a diagram or service manual but couldn’t find anything on Google. Also, video guides on YouTube all seem to be non-integrated machines.

    Thanks

cant find it on any parts lists

follow the cable in and see where it goes

check door switch unit and main board

there is also sometimes a small board to filter out interference on some microwaves

    Thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately after removing all visible screws on the back of the machine the panel seems completely immovable. It looks like it’s connected to the top and front, which I think would require dismantling. Before giving up and buying a new one, I thought I would post a few images that perhaps you could look at to see if there was an easier way to find the offending fuse.
