    Hi all, new hear,but bet this has been done thousands of cycles ( pardon the pun)
    Dont know where else to go so thought I would ask some regular people.
    I have ( well the wife has) a hotpoint washing machine which has been confirmed ot one of the models affected. I registered the fault on december 12th . Could anyone shed some light on how long it takes to get a replacement because the drum bearing is howling and not sure whether to repair it or hope it lasts. But I’m not sure how long it will be. I get no sense at whirlpool they just keep fobing me off.

    Register it online will get back to you within 10 days to exchange the machine giving you delivery date options they are using ao.com to exchange the machines

    I registered it in December, they have never given me a date. I have numerous emails even with an incident number but still no rough date.

    I would in the first instance contact Hotpoint complaints on 0333 920 8509 giving them seven days in which to resolve the problem. If still no action I would then use Money Saving Expert Resolver service link here for you.

    Hi,
    I contacted Whirlpool late May re an affected Hotpoint tumble dryer. They contacted me ten days later. I chose a cash option rather than a replacement as i’d lost faith in Hotpoint.
    Definitely try online chat with them.
