We have a Beko DW601 Dishwasher which until yesterday was working fine with no faults or issues apparent. The machine was running a wash cycle when we had a power outage. It was still turned on when the power came back on a couple of hours later but when we checked it the lights had gone out and it no longer works. I know there is no thermal fuse in these. Would a power outage or more likely the sudden return of power while it was running have burned something out? I have looked at the wiring and it all appears to be intact with no burning or breakages.
its unlikely any wires will have burnt out
check the socket its plugged into if that is ok it will probably be a board problem as power surges can take out electronic circuits
only if you have technical equipment and knowledge
an engineer would have to check if the power was getting to the control board and if yes if the low voltage was present on the board to supply the components
