ParticipantHi,
My dryer comes up with this code intermittently, but seems to happen more with bigger/heavy loads.
Any ideas? I did read somewhere on google it was suggested a PCB fault. I can repair to component level so any pointers much appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Matt

ModeratorI only found 1 ref to this error and it seems to be a board or software problem
described as “Control fault 1″ ” process software set is incorrect programmed ” ” update software or replace control ”

ParticipantHi Dave,
I’ve done a bit of googling and found that my dryer seems to have the same control board as the Bosch Home Professional WTY88700AU/07 (same test mode too) which according to another site mentions this is Bosch T24xi. They host a service manual for this model but of course it’s not free and you need to be in the trade etc.
Not sure if this helps?
Cheers,
Matt

Moderatorwhere i got it from is one of the manuals hosted on manualslib which is a free site. you will never get an exact match but you have to hope some error codes wont change otherwise their own engineers could not remember them

ParticipantQuick update, seems the fault may now be fixed. Fingers crossed.
I removed all three control boards – display, inverter and main control. Resoldered all pins on Inverter IC and blanket solder the rest of the caps etc. Cleaned all connections and re-assembled. The good news I saw all Rubycon electrolytic capacitors throughout! 🙂
I’ve since found that Error 24 below:-

Compressor / inverter communication error
DBUS connection disconnected, inverter is not switched on, inverter defective
Check the cable to the inverter, check the inverter when the program has started

Cheers,
Matt
