Hi. I had the oven on yesterday. The power tripped. When I switched the power back on the oven powered up (timer and fan) but no heat. We use the oven two or three times a week for short periods (max 30 minutes). We’ve had it from new. Any advice would be great please.

probably just an element failure. 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time if you fit a new element it will be fine

looks like it should be this one

this is a genuine element. There are cheaper alternatives but in my experience they are worth the extra

thanks. I have switched off power at the cooker plug. I have removed the cooker door. I have removed the two screws fixing the back cover plate.I can see the lugs that locate the bottom of the plate into the back. When I angle the cover plate forward (from top) it won’t go past the metal shelf supports on the sides. I’m assuming that I’ll need to remove one set of side shelf supports? They have metal bars that clip into the side of the oven (in fact the left rear one isn’t actually engaged). I assume that I pull the centre of the vertical bar on the front edge of the left unit to spring the top out and then remove the left side shelves to allow the back cover pate to drop down further to remove it? any advice would be great thanks

cant tell you how they remove. because its Ikea cant find an owners manual and that info may well be in there

but yes you have to remove them to allow the back cover to be removed
