    The top oven, bottom element has open circuited. How do you remove the element? The 4 element connection protrude through a metal plate by about 50mm. The element does not slide forward to enable removal. Is it side panel removal? Has anyone got the part number?

    Serial number is 3370158216440044
    I’ve never asked how to remove an oven element. didn’t want to waste time in the customer’s house . Thought it best just to ask on here.

    42817766 is the part number you need can’t remember exactly but im sure these come out from back on the single ovens its from the bottom from memory

    Yes, its at the base of the top oven. I’m wondering if it slides out with the metal plate which it protrudes through. I will go and have another look? Thanks for the part number.

    I discovered that you need to slide your hand under the element , lift and push it towards the front of the oven until it clears the holes in the metal plate.
