I have the above fridge, the starter relay had burnt out I ordered a replacement and at 1st worked well the fridge cooled down to 2deg and started to cycle and maintain temp, after about 30mins the temp started to rise and climbed to 22deg (I then unplugged it)
I have done the following tests.
    between windings
    22ohm / 23ohms / 45ohms. all windings to earth 6.5m,ohm (standard multimeter)
run current when working properly 1.1 amp
run current when heating fridge. 6amps (over current trips out)

it looks to me the unit has gone into reverse !!!
what would course this and is there a fix?
    Thanks, Richard

how did you get 2 different currents ?

what happens now if you turn on

does it run at 1.1A or 6A?

Hi Dave. if i leave the fridge off for couple hours and plug it back in it work normally with a run current of 1.1amps. After 30mins or so the fridge temp starts to rise and the run current go’s up to 6amps (inside fancoil gets warm and outside fancoil is cool I have checked the fridge does not have and defrost mode)

i would say you need to give uyp on this one. its a refrigeration fault and it can get costly. Possibly a blockage in the pipework
