KeymasterI have a five year old Ariston oven and the model number on the paper work is:
FV 37 GB
FV 34D GBThe glass panel on the centre of the door has come off and needs refixed however I don’t know how to remove the door. If anyone could offer some advice I would be more than thankful.
Thanks

KeymasterHi John,
If that’s off the instruction manual then it’s probably of little use, search for the rating plate as that will have the correct model and serial number on it.

Three different models of FV34D dependant on colour. There are three different hinges used on this machine. A silver ‘normal’ hinge a sliver ‘roller’ hinge and a black ‘heavy duty’ hinge. Very different in construction and removal.
Some manufacturers include instructions on door removal, via the hinges in their user manual, have you checked for this?June 6, 2005 at 8:59 pm #137020Penguin45

Check the “sticky” at the top of this forum I did a few weeks ago “removing oven doors for cleanig”, it shows two small video clips (kindly provided by BSH for their customers) but it gives a fairly good indication of how to remove both of the more common types of oven door as many manufacturers use a similar type of arrangement.

ParticipantThanks guys.
Those videos saved me a shed load of time and, as frustration levels were on target to kick the oven out of the back door, a shed load of cash as well 🙂
The inside and outside glass fell out and I needed to get the door off to replace it.
Regards,
Jeremy
