    Good afternoon all,

Have an obscure fault with the above W/D.

Essentially when on a drying cycle, all is fine for between 15 & 30 minutes prior to the machine stopping and the display failing completely.

Once left for a few minutes the machine recovers, and works again until the above fault recurring.

I’ve had a look at the wiring multi plugs to the three boards, (Operating Module, Control Module & Display Module) which all appear good.

Does anyone know if the above is a known fault, and/or which module it is likely to be? (the Op’ Mod’ & Control Mod’ are both over £200.00 each!)

have you checked for leaking steam ?

also check dryer element insulation when it fails

or when it fails it normally takes a few minutes to recover. so take the wires off TD elements and see if it recovers

Have had similar before a couple of times, both occasions was the pcb. QER sorted it.

    Thanks gent’s,

Looks like a board fault, as heating element insulation remains good when the programme fails, and unaffected when wires are removed from it.

Customer probably buying a new w/d but I wonder if you sent all three modules to QER? (Programme, Control & Display Modules)

p.s. sad to see EMW have ceased trading recently.
