SUPERMARKET chain Asda has slashed £18 million from the prices of its electrical products.
Not only are they claimed as the biggest round of price cuts the store group has ever introduced on electricals, but it is the first time it has singled out electrical products in a solus price-snipping campaign.
“The cuts, are set to make way for some of the best value electrical products on the market – in some cases offering goods at 48% lower than at the same time last year,” said the grocer, which is owned by American mega-retailer Wal-Mart.
